For those looking for some new music from The Getaway Plan, it’s gonna be a little while with the band only in the early stages of writing their second album.
But vocalist Matthew Wright has been working on a debut album for his other band YOUNG HERETICS, who plan to release the record around May / June. The band has put up a demo of the track “DARK PRINCE” on their myspace.
With The Getaway Plan soon to be retired, frontman Matthew Wright is forging on with new project Young Heretics. Fans of his prior incarnation may be a little surprised. A collaboration between Wright and fellow vocalist Kitty Hart, Young Heretics deal in dreamy, fashion-mag-friendly pop.
The pair is set to release a debut album We Are The Lost Loves later this year, with the lead single The Lost Loves now available for public scrutiny. Before The Getaway Plan’s final tour kicks off, Young Heretics have two low-key gigs lined up in Melbourne.
